Back by popular demand*, this is Camp Summerset's half-day (9:00 am to 1:00 pm) program for 3 and a half to 4-year olds!

Camp Summerset offers a self-contained camp for children who are 3 and a half to 4 years old and are toilet-trained.   The Minnows will enjoy a theme-based curriculum featuring a variety of fun-filled activities while making new friends.   These fun activities include...

  • Storytelling
  • Creative Dramatics
  • Camp Games
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Music
  • Science

We are excited to be offering this wonderful program again for our youngest campers.   Minnows will have lots of fun, learning, and great experiences under the gentle guidance of our amazing long-time Camp Summerset teacher, Mrs. Kathryn Truppner.   This program runs from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.   Minnows will eat lunch at camp before going home.   Campers will need to bring a bag lunch, a drink, a snack, change of clothes, towel, and bathing suit to camp each day. All of these items must be labeled with the child's name and sent in a backpack or tote.

Announcing a new option for Minnows!   Parents, you've asked for more programs for our youngest campers and we have listened to you.   We are happy to announce a full day option for our youngest campers:

Minnows Waterworld extends the fun of Minnows from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm , with a fun-filled afternoon of water adventures, water exploration, and water play!   Each afternoon our Minnows will enjoy many water-based activities, such as sprinkler splashing, water limbo dancing, water relays, Kool-Aid painting, water bubbles, fishing for hidden treasures, and underwater dioramas.   After all this fun, campers will dry off and cool down in a relaxing setting while listening to water stories.

Sign up early for one of these wonderful experiences for your child!   *Parents, please note that, for both Minnows and Minnows Waterworld, because these are our smallest programs, we will need to achieve adequate enrollment in order to sustain this program.   Should enrollment be insufficient, all enrolled families will be issued a full refund.   Encourage your friends to enroll!
