Camp Summerset has prided itself for over 20 years on providing a fun and diverse camp curriculum for all children. While we have welcomed children with special needs, we are licensed as a recreational camp and not a special education camp.
If your child is currently receiving regular school-based or outside intervention for intellectual, emotional, behavioral, and/or physical disabilities, please contact the Camp Director to discuss whether Camp Summerset is the appropriate camp for your child before registering.
Parents, please read the overview of our camp's structure and requirements before deciding to enroll your child in Camp Summerset.
If your child requires medication during Camp hours, either routine or under emergency situations, whether self-carried or stored safely in the Camp office, please contact Camp Directors at firstname.lastname@example.org before your child begins Camp.
Campers with emergency medical needs, such as EpiPens or Benadryl, must have a Maryland State Medication Administration Authorization form completed and signed by a physician before medication may be delivered to Camp. Please be certain that a specific medication plan is provided, including indications and circumstances under which the medical need is recognized, and specific instructions for administration of the medication. This medical need must also be listed on the Camp Health Information and History Form.
Parents, please click here to access the Maryland State Medication Administration Authorization Form before your child starts Camp Summerset. If your Camp Summerset Senior child has successfully carried his or her own emergency medication during the school year and you intend for your child to self carry and self medicate during Camp hours, Camp Summerset requires that the Self Administration and Self Carry section of Maryland State Medication Administration Authorization Form be filled in and signed by a physician and delivered to the Camp Office before the start of Camp.

To Enroll/Register your child in Camp Summerset begin by:
- Completing a Camper Enrollment Form
- Paying for your Enrollment by selecting your program in the Tuition sections below.
Step 1: The Camper Enrollment Form is required and must be completed online.
Step 2: Payment is separate and done by selecting your choices below from the tuition table. Tuition must be paid in full one month after enrollment.
Step 3: Complete all forms and mail them or fax them to Camp Summerset within 2 weeks of enrollment. Please note that enrollment and the registration process will not be complete until all forms have been received. (We've even provided you with this awesome form checklist to make sure you are ready for camp!)
If your child will be a Classic Camp Junior or Senior, please refer to the Programs Page to choose your classes/tracks.

Camp Summerset tuition must be paid within 1 month of enrollment or the child's place in camp will be forfeited. Once tuition has been paid, families may request a refund any time prior to April 1, with a $15 processing fee incurred per child per session. After April 1st, any cancellations will incur a $115 cancellation fee per child per session. After June 1st, no refunds will be given.
Families must inform Camp Summerset in writing or by email that a refund is requested. Upon receipt of this written request, the refund will be refunded within 2 weeks.
*Please note that refunds will not be provided for camper absences or in the event that camp is closed due to weather or other emergencies that force the close of Camp.
Regular Camp Hours: 9am to 3pm
Drop-off in the morning: 8:45am to 9am
Pick-up in the afternoon: 2:50pm to 3pm
Before Care : 7:45am to 8:45am
$100 per 10-day session (if pre-arranged at the start of each session)
$15 per day, drop-in (if not pre-arranged)
After Care : 3pm to 6pm
$250 per 10-day session (if pre-arranged at the start of each session)
$30 per day, drop-in (if not pre-arranged)
Combined Before Care and After Care
$300 for each 10-day session
Before Care and/or After Care tuition may be paid online or by check, starting on January 23rd, 2017.
These forms must be filled in in order for your child to enroll in Camp Summerset.
